The license key is required for our plugins and themes. This allows you to activate your purchased product, so that you can receive product updates & patches, when we release them. Our products receive updates which usually include new features, bug fixes and overall performance improvements. You can view all your license keys that you have purchased from Smartcat on your account page.

Your license key is attached to your WordPress website URL. Only the URLs attached to the license can be active and receive updates. If you move your WordPress installation, or change the URL, you will need to update the licensed URL from the account page.
